Pixnap ("we", "our", "the App") is a document scanner application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our App.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Pixnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.
- We do not upload your scanned documents or photos to any server.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not have user accounts or login systems.
Camera and Photo Library Access
Pixnap requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning documents. Photos and scans are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
Local Storage
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device:
- Language preference — your chosen display language.
- Scan count — the number of documents you have scanned (used for app functionality).
This data stays on your device and is never transmitted externally.
Advertising and Tracking
Pixnap uses Google AdMob to display ads. When you first launch the App, you will be asked for permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework).
- If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads.
- If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob — for serving advertisements.
Children's Privacy
Pixnap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
