FAQ
How do I scan a document?
Open the app and tap the camera button. Point your camera at the document — Pixnap will automatically detect the edges. You can also pick an existing photo from your library. After capture, adjust the corners if needed and tap confirm.
What export formats are supported?
You can export your scanned documents as PDF or PNG. Choose your preferred format from the export menu after scanning.
What are the enhancement modes?
Pixnap offers three enhancement modes to optimize your scans:
- Black & White — high-contrast mode, ideal for text documents.
- Grayscale — balanced tones, good for mixed content.
- Color — preserves original colors, best for photos or colored documents.
How do I change the app language?
Go to the settings screen in the app and select your preferred language. Pixnap supports 8 languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese.
Is my data uploaded to the cloud?
No. All scanning and processing happens entirely on your device. Pixnap does not upload your documents or photos to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The scan quality is not good enough. What can I do?
For best results: ensure good lighting, keep the camera steady, and place the document on a contrasting background. Try different enhancement modes to find the best output for your document type.
